About the Coach

John Robinson, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, partners with people who are ready to open the door to what's possible in their life. John’s coaching is a true expression of leading a fulfilled life. He came to coaching from the best possible place - from being coached. Now, as a coach, he brings to his clients the experience of the journey and his passion to share the gift with people who want to discover what's possible in their lives.

John has over 35 years combined professional experience as an aerospace engineer, project and program manager, and life coach. He holds a BS from the University of Maryland, a MS from the Catholic University of America, and earned his CPCC (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach) designation from The Coaches Training Institute (CTI). He has also completed advanced training in Relationship Systems Coaching from CTI, is currently enrolled in the CTI Leadership Program, and is a member of the International Coach Federation.

John's clients have included students, retirees, and employees of the Federal Government and Fortune 500 companies. John has partnered with his clients to improve leadership skills; clarify relationship issues; develop and implement retirement plans; go back to school to start a new career; achieve guilt-free balance between work and home; find a job; clarify values and purpose; and move up the career ladder. Many of his clients go on to, as one of his clients said, "impress themselves".

John is a life-long Maryland resident. Married 34 years, the father of a daughter, and grandfather to a grandson and granddaughter, he was an engineer, line supervisor, project and program manager for more than 30 years at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center prior to "graduating" to follow his passion as a Life Coach.
